Covid19 and HART Wildlife Rescue

HART Wildlife needs you more than ever

We would like to reassure you that HART Wildlife Rescue is open to receive patients for as long as we possibly can during this uncertain time. We have had to make some drastic changes, suspend volunteering and cope on a skeleton staff, but our commitment to the animals is unwavering.

These are difficult times for so many of us right now, and we too are feeling the impact on our income. We rely on:
  • Donations and sales from the shop (shop closed)
  • Donations to the hospital with admissions (admissions limited)
  • Supporters taking part in events for us and fundraising (events cancelled)
  • Donations received at events we attend (no events income)
With our busiest time of year approaching, we have a critical need for funds.

Please can you help?

The hospital still has many patients, and we still have to pay our rent, utilities, vet and feed costs. This is a hugely challenging time.

There are several ways to get involved and any one of these would make a big difference to the animals:

Please only donate if you can afford to do so, we recognise that a lot of people are in the same situation we are and are only asking for help if you feel you are able to do this.

Core staff are working at the hospital and have set up a station to receive wildlife outside the hospital so as not to put anyone at risk. We will continue to provide our service to rescue, treat and rehabilitate wildlife for as long as we possibly can.

Wishing you and yours good health and thank you for any and all support you can give.
