August 2017 News

Cheers big ears! This brown long eared bat is here for hopefully just a short stay, whilst we feed him up. Their ears are almost as long as their body and can be tucked under their wings while resting!

Two of our little baby hedgehogs, finding their feet! These two were brought in over a week ago after their nest was disturbed. They are now just over two weeks old and have opened their eyes. If you come across a hedgehog nest whilst gardening, do not touch the babies, just place the nest back together and leave well alone, checking to see if mum has returned the next day. If she has not returned, or you find 'peeping' babies (calling) or if they are not in a nest, then call a rescue.
