Education Centre
HART are currently in the process of raising funds for our new facilities that will allow us to care large mammals, birds of prey and water birds. However, better care for wildlife is not the only aim of the developments. Among these plans is a proposed Education Centre, which will be used to run courses and talks on wildlife from, as well as providing space for work experience students to work on any theoretical aspects of their time with us.As a key part of the Education Centre, we have already started work on a wildlife pond, and are also designing the landscape to encourage a rich habitat for a diverse range of wildlife. We are planning to use this as a learning environment, which local primary schools, colleges and wildlife enthusiasts can benefit from. We are a charity that not only wants to care for animals, but also promote and educate on the importance our British wildlife.
