TALKS AND LECTURES
All too often wildlife is under threat from pollution, loss of habitat and unwanted human intervention. Through education we try to counteract the impact we all have, and instill a sense of compassion and responsibility for our wildlife in both children and adults.
If you would like someone to come and talk to your organisation or group please contact us by email
This service is provided free but donations are gratefully received and this forms an increasingly important part of our income.
FIRST AID COURSES
You never know when you might come across an injured animal or bird. Would you know how best to deal with the situation, the injury, the casualty? If not, you might be interested in our basic wildlife first aid courses.
We can organise these for groups of about 20 on a first come, first served basis at a cost of £5 per person, which includes a drink and biscuits!
WORK EXPERIENCE
Currently there are few places where students studying for animal welfare qualifications can enjoy a week or two work experience and for many this is an essential element of their course.
Unfortunately, until we have built our new hospital premises we will be unable to take work experience students. Check back regularly for updates on HART's progress.
